Linen Care
Looked after simply, linen only gets better with age — softer to the touch and more beautiful with every wash.
A cold or lukewarm cycle below 30°C with a mild detergent keeps the fibres supple and the colour true wash after wash.
Linen softens naturally with every wash — softeners only coat the weave and dull that signature lived-in handfeel.
A low tumble pulled out slightly damp gives the softest finish; an outdoor line and a little sun does the rest beautifully.
The gentle crumple is the whole point. Smooth it with your hands when made — there is no need to reach for the iron.
Keep two or three sets in rotation so each one rests between uses; the linen wears in evenly and lasts a great deal longer.
